Hip-hop educates, though recently, it hasn’t been quite as cool to kick knowledge as it used to be. “In My Head” is a bright throwback to substantive knowledge. And who better to come with actual facts than the Gods from Brand Nubian?
Over a swirling key riff and a pounding piano sample, Lord Jamar and Sadat X kick Godbody flow: Refrain from the lard, construct your heaven on earth and, of course, knowledge is infinite.

WOW!!! It's been a long time since I've listened to an album and enjoyed EVERY SONG on it from START TO FINISH!!!! I chose PROVE ME WRONG as my favorite track but 6 other songs like THE FORMULA and People's Champ could have also been chosen as my favorite. I am going to buy two CD copies as a way to make sure I always have it in my collection. GRAND SALUTE to OC with the SUPERDOPE LYRICISM and APOLLO BROWN with the SUPERDOPE PRODUCTION. Michael Holt

Gritty, shadowy, mysterious, sweaty. This feels like an urban hot summer night when things might go bad. Beats and lyrics are on point, both tell the story. Eumomota
